ATIKOKAN, ONTARIO - The Canoeing Capital of Canada

Atikokan, Ontario is located 2 hours west of Thunder Bay at the heart of the North American continent. This quaint, friendly, full-service community lies in the midst of some of Canada's most rugged wilderness and is one of the main access points to Quetico Provincial Park. Surrounded by over 9,000 square kilometres of lakes and backcountry Atikokan is the perfect base for true wilderness adventures.

GETTING THERE:

Thunder Bay has an International Airport, although most flights would go through Toronto. There are several flights per day between Toronto and Thunder Bay.
