Sault College Adventure Challenge
Huntsville, ON

Sunday, May 6, 2007

The Sault College Adventure Challenge has been developed with overwhelming support, input and hard work from students, schools, citizens and businesses who want to make a difference in a young person’s life.

About the event: Racing non stop over 30 to 40 kms of wilderness terrain using mtn bikes, canoes and trekking all while only using a map and compass the teams will challenge their limits, teamwork and their knowledge of the outdoors.

Clinics: Saturday May 5th – FREE Adventure Racing workshops at 1:00 PM given by Canada’s best adventure racers and former Olympic athletes. BBQ dinner and pre-race party, with time to interact with athletes from Saturday's Adventure Challenge event.

Who can enter: Teams consist of three high school students in one of the following categories: Mixed / Male / Female (recommended ages are from 15 to 18). There can be multiple teams from the same high school.

Free Entries: There will be a limited number of free entries available on March 20th at 10:00 AM and again on April 17th at 10:00AM. These will be distributed on a first come first serve basis, limited to one FREE entry per school. These free entries are designed to help teams from more remote locations in Ontario get to the race and also help teams who cannot raise the entry fee themselves. If you do not need the free entry please leave it for a team in need.

Donate a spot: If you want to help 3 students discover something special in themselves you can sponsor teams and help us achieve our goal of giving away 100 Free Entries to teams in need. Click here to donate.
