We've rolled up the best of our Jalcomulco and Pico2Playa Mexico training camps into one incredible week in Costa Rica. Tailored for both new adventure racers and top competitors, the Jungles & Volcanoes AR Training Week takes your adventure racing to unexplored heights with a combination of skills training, focused physical activity, culture and adventure in the jungles, rivers and volcanoes of central Costa Rica!

Participants will experience the world famous whitewater and canyons of the Pacuare River Canyon, reach nearly 4000m on volcano treks, get vertigo rappelling and zipping off cliffs and gorges, ride thrilling singletrack trails, and absorb the culture and hospitality of central Costa Rica.
Over your week in Costa Rica, we'll focus on at least two sports each day, using a combination of day trips and overnights. Each day we'll mix up 'teams' to ensure participants develop individual skills as well as teamwork, while ensuring we explore and experience as much of this amazing area as possible.
We'll be staying in a variety of Costa Rican accommodations, from an adventure hostel in the shadow of a volcano, to cozy and comfortable haciendas in villages like Turrialba, and a riverside adventure camp on the Pacuare River.

Mountain biking
Trekking
Navigation: in all disciplines, plus night nav exercise
Paddling: flatwater and whitewater, swiftwater rescue
Ropes: ascending, descending, self-rescue, knots
