The Frontier Adventure Challenge Fall Classic has been getting wilder and more exciting every year, and 2008 will definitely continue the trend. After last year's calm and rugged beauty of one of the Group of Seven's favorite haunts, the Bon Echo region, 2008 promises to provide more thrills and spills under the rich canopy of autumn colors.

Returning to one of our favorite host sites, Esprit Rafting, on the Ottawa River, we'll discover the incredibly rugged wilderness of the Pontiac region, cruise the abandoned rail trails along the river valley, and spike your adrenaline with some of the best paddling and whitewater anywhere in Canada. Esprit provides an incredible athlete's village atmosphere, their famous post-race food, and a memorable season-ending wrap up party with that unforgettable autumn sunset.

Championship. The Fall Classic has for years served as the Sprint Series Championship for Eastern Canada, and most years, it's the only AR champs in Canada. Top teams from across Ontario and Quebec look to this event to claim their stake as the best team for the year. As the multi-year dynasty of Team Simon River Sports ended last year with the retirement of the team's core members, it's time for some new competitive teams to reach for the podium.

Open to Everyone. While this will be a competitive race with the best teams in Canada, there are no qualifications or restrictions. Two course options - Advanced or Regular - make this a race for everyone. If your team is looking for a longer race experience with some darkness but without going overnight, this is a great opportunity.

Teams can be all-male, coed, all-female, or you can go solo!

Great value. Only $495 for the Frontier AC Fall Classic and Championship, a 10-14 hour Long Course event with optional Advanced course, including use of canoe, whitewater rafting, maps, tshirt, and a great post-race meal and party.

Great prizing including free racing for all 2009 Frontier AC events and sponsor gear.

Watch out for our rapidly growing all-female category - will the Salomon Bobkittens retain their crown as the top female Adventure Racing team in Canada?

...and as always, yet another super-fun racecourse in the true spirit of adventure racing!
