NEW! View the entire Raid the
North: Canadian Championship course in
Google
Earth! If you already have Google Earth installed,
here is what you need to do:

Fire up Google Earth and go to
[Add]->[Network Link]

Name it Raid the North: Canadian
Championship
-
Set the location to
http://www.far.on.ca/map/
-
If you want Google Earth to keep up
to date with the latest CP times, check the [Refresh
Parameters] checkbox and select Time-Based Refresh.

Set When to Periodically,
and set the refresh time. NOTE: Please do set
the refresh to 1 hour or longer -- to keep our
server running happy!

Hit [OK] -- that's it!
If you don't have
Google
Earth yet, you can download it from
http://earth.google.com/
-- it is totally free and an amazing program.
With Google Earth, you can see all of the
CPs in 3D, zoom in for more detail, and fly between stages.
Also, clicking on CPs will show you all of the CP times
recorded so far!
NOTE: The routes shown are
approximate only -- teams may take entirely different
routes, and should be used only as rough guides. |
